This assessment has been designed to help pupils apply key Year 6 grammar and writing skills with confidence. Questions cover a range of curriculum statements, including punctuation, sentence structure, vocabulary choices and formal language.

The purpose of this test is to identify strengths, highlight next steps, and support pupils in preparing for end-of-year expectations.

We recommend that this assessment is done at the end of Term 1.
