This activity is designed for children to practise recognising and using contractions correctly. The task gives pupils the chance to join two words together to form contractions, identify and correct missing apostrophes and spot errors in sentences. These are a great activity for targeted practice with contractions and work well as a starter, a review task or a short independent activity.
